Job Summary
This lead position is primarily responsible for administering the salaried leave of absence program. This may include processing leave of absence requests, providing queries and statistical reporting for the leave program and developing efficient tracking and follow up procedures.
Responsibility
Process leave of absence requests
Communicate with employees and appropriate location management regarding leave requests
Provide problem resolution for leave of absence inquiries received from local, area and regional HR staff
Assist with the resolution of escalated leave request cases, involving the HR SSO Benefit Administration Manager and/or the Compliance Manager as appropriate.
Assist with review/approval of Qualified Medical Support Orders
May assist other members of the Benefit Administration team
Basic Qualifications
Four year degree with industry experience in benefit administration
Must have working knowledge of FMLA, short term disability, and USERRA
Must have previous experience handling leave of absence requests for salaried employees and medical support orders.
No relocation is available for this position
